Our Story...
Balanced Childcare is a 24-hour daycare center founded by Dana Bowser, a licensed special education teacher. Dana originally came up with the name "Balanced" from the vision of balancing education and play for young children. However, what she discovered in her research was a more significant issue with parents.
Dana realized that many parents also needed balance with juggling work and parenthood. She found that high-quality childcare and early education services weren't available to support the work schedules of nontraditional parents. It was disheartening, and as an educator and natural problem solver - she had to create a solution.
In 2006, Dana started a family home childcare center, offering early-learning programs that combine age-appropriate educational activities with flexible scheduling options to accommodate parents' unpredictable and variable work schedules.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide safe, flexible, and high-quality home daycare to meet the unique needs of working parents. We aim to deliver developmentally appropriate childcare that stimulates children's social, cognitive, attentive, psychomotor, and physical growth. We offer a safe, clean, nurturing, and recreational environment for children between 6 weeks and 12 years.

Our vision is to be recognized as the leader in childcare services for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children. We want to be known for our exceptional educational programs and community relationships.
